BioFloc Fish Farming

Nitya Sangha is a mahila co-opearative society Ltd. under Jamna gram Panchayet under Labpur Community Development Block where the most of the people’s occupation are daily labour. Most of the farmers are seasonal labour. So the farmers face the problem of economic crisis.

At the time of corona pandemic, in2020 when the  situation around was very bad,the women working in Nitya Sangha started town interest 10MT capacity Biofloc. Magur fish, kai fish, singhi fish are cultivated here. fish culture unit atown sangha premises with the help of W.B.C.A.D.C  nalhati(1) project, Birbhum. Always a demand for fish in the market.

So Nitya Sangha has seen a new source of income income by cultivating fish in bio floc method and has responded to the local bazaar with financial gain. Thank’s to,the W.B.C.A.D.C Nalhati(1) project’s O.C motivated us for Biofloc fish farming cultivation in 2020.Then, W.B.C.A.D.C Nalhati(1) project give us a Biofloc fish farming scheme,total project cost was 1,35,800. W.B.C.A.D.C.’s contribution 100% subcidy and Nitya Sangha’s own contribution is to make fish farming, to seed fish and fish feed from the market and take care of them, to give them labour NityaSanghacultivatedhybridMagurfishand20 month income is Rs. 395000.

Mushroom Production

Nitya Sangha is a mahila co-opearative society Ltd. under Jamna gram Panchayet under Labpur Community Development Block wherethe most of the people’s occupation are daily labour.Most of the farmers are seasonal labour. So the farmers face the problem of economic crisis. In this situation, they all decided together that they will grow mushrooms.

 The W.B.C.A.D.C Nalhati(1) project’s O.C motivated they and training the members of Nitya sangha mobilizes they to promote Mushroom.

W.B.C.A.D.C Nalhati(1) project give they a Mushroom scheme W.B.C.A.D.C.s contribution 75% and Own contribution 25% .

 

Now, they cultivated 220 sq ft area for Mushroom cultivation.W.B.C.A.D.C Nalhati(1) project  members had provided to Nitya sanghas production shed, cylinder shelves, sprayer, water bucket, Aluminium Disc. And to promote the Mushroom cultivation. their family members assisted they in Mushroom cultivation.
